Hey there! Thank you for being here.

I’m Natalie Howley, Director of TL;DR, a Wellbeing Coach and former Frontend Developer. I specialise in helping tech leaders build teams through workshops and coaching which focus on building emotional intelligence and strong team connections.

I’ve seen first-hand the impact of strong soft-skills in the tech workplace and on the other side, the breakdown of communication and trust that happens when these skills are lacking.

I’m here to combine all of my experience and help you build top tech teams that choose to stay.

Here's what we can help with...

There are three common struggles within tech teams that we can help overcome:

COMMUNICATION

Misunderstandings and miscommunications sometimes happen, resulting in errors, rework, and project delays.

Team members generally communicate adequately, but there’s room for improvement in expressing thoughts and ideas more clearly and empathetically.

There is a desire for more senior team members to be transparent and deliver difficult information clearly and with sensitivity.

CONNECTION

Individuals may work in isolation and hesitate to engage fully or share ideas openly.

There are sometimes challenges in remote or distributed teams.

Feedback is given sporadically, with some missed opportunities for constructive input and growth.

CONFLICT-MANAGEMENT

There are sometimes disagreements among team members due to different work styles, opinions or priorities. 

Cultural differences are present and not always navigated well. 

Individuals may express frustration or disagreement in a less constructive manner during conflicts.
